Senior Project Manager

Irlam (hybrid role)

Permanent

£45,000 - £50,000 per annum + company vehicle, fuel card and benefits

The Client

Our client is a leading global professional services firm with 27,000 employees in more than 550 offices in more than 120 countries on seven continents. They are proud of the quality tailored solutions they provide to their clients which generate high volumes of repeat business over the years. You will provide support to clients, technical leads, Project Directors and Senior Management to achieve the objectives & goals of the water technical business stream. You will have responsibility for delivering health, safety and wellbeing without compromise and operational performance excellence, by ensuring absolute delivery of KPI’s and driving efficient work practices. This role will oversee up to 30 staff at differing levels, the majority of which are field based.

The Role

Ideally based in the northwest area, you will have a good understanding of contract conditions and strive to improve on financial targets whilst delivering on all quality and safety requirements.

* Managing a Programme or Framework of projects through the entire project lifecycle from Inception through to handover.

* Leading change management, continual Improvement and incremental growth of business and people to realise a ‘high performing teams’ culture.

* Managing the delivery of projects related to sewer networks for our clients.

* Manage the health, safety and wellbeing of our office based and field-based teams.

* Safety, ethics, integrity, and the environment – always embraces and upholds high professional standards.

* Establish and manage collaborative and remote working teams.

* Deliver a high level of customer service to our external and internal customers.

* Manage the day to day running of our Irlam office.

* Motivate, lead, and manage a multidisciplinary team.

* Must be willing to travel between their wastewater offices when needed.

The Requirements

* A strong working knowledge of drainage and sewer networks and associated reporting would be advantageous.

* Proficient in the use of the MS office suite, work management systems and applications are essential.

* A full UK driving licence is also essential.

* Degree qualified in a relevant subject is desirable although not essential.

* Ideally hold an industry recognised Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2 or APM

* IOSH managing safely

* Development – wants to continually develop new skills in themselves and others through continuous professional development and other means

The Rewards

Our client is offering a competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000, plus a company vehicle, fuel card, uniform and PPE will be provided, the opportunity to invest and many other benefits including 24 days of holiday + bank holidays, the Option to purchase up to 5 extra days per year, company pension scheme, and a benefit hub offering discounts, cashback offers and rewards
