Maintenance Engineer Required!
Our client is a leading provider of advanced packaging and processing equipment, they supply high-performance machinery to various industries.
On behalf of our client, we are now recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all machinery and equipment is maintained to the highest standards, on and off-site. This role will involve, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of capital equipment.
This is a full-time position working hours are Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm and Fridays 8:30am-4:30pm. Candidates should be within commutable distance to their site in Luton.
Package:
Salary £40,000 - £45,000 (DOE)
23 days holiday + bank holidays

Sick payMaintenance Engineer - Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of machinery and equipment, including mechanical and electrical systems.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Conduct scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance to prevent unexpected equipment failures.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repair logs, inspections, and parts inventory.
Collaborate with the engineering team to recommend and implement process improvements for enhanced machine performance and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities.Maintenance Engineer - Requirements:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer working with capital equipment
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Willingness to travel to customer sites
