Our client are a well-established developer of utility scale solar farms and energy systems. The types of projects that they work on include renewable energy and residential projects such as large-scale battery projects.

Due to company growth, our client is looking to bring in a Planning Manager from a renewable energy background, to join their team full time in the office. You will be responsible for managing planning applications for large scale renewable projects.

Salary - £45,000 - £55,000.

Position Overview

Manage and submit planning applications for large-scale renewable projects, such as solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
Liaise with local councils and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with planning and environmental regulations.
Coordinate site assessments, feasibility studies, and environmental impact reports.
Oversee project timelines to meet planning approval deadlines.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including engineers, developers, and legal teams, to ensure project alignment with planning requirements.

Position Requirements

Experience within the Renewable Energy sector is essential.
Proven experience as a Planning Manager or similar roles.
Great communication and organisational skills.
