Job Title: HGV Mechanic

Shift: Early and Late Shift Rotation, Monday to Friday

Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Mechanic to join our team in South Molton. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary of £55,000 per annum. The successful candidate will work on a rotating shift pattern of early and late shifts from Monday to Friday, ensuring the maintenance and repair of our fleet of heavy goods vehicles to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of HGVs.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently.
Conduct thorough inspections and ensure all vehicles comply with DVSA standards.
Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including job sheets and service documentation.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of all tasks.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and management regarding vehicle status and any required parts or equipment.Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic with a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair.
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in HGV Maintenance or equivalent is preferred.
Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
License: A valid HGV driving license is desirable but not essential.
Flexibility: Willingness to work on a rotating shift pattern, including early and late shifts.What We Offer:
