Job Title – Lead Estimator
Location – London & Home Counties
Salary – £32,000 - £37,000 + Company Car

My client provides property and facility maintenance as well as fire safety solutions to the commercial and property management sector With a geographical coverage spanning from the South Coast to Birmingham the team of estimators is crucial in delivering a fast, reliable service quote and costing service to their clients.
The Opportunity
The role provides the opportunity to support the growth of the business in the estimating team as it widens its responsibilities to tenders for framework agreements, and larger cyclical projects such as redecorations and refurbishments across a wide range. This role is essential in collecting the information needed to produce a quote/pricing document for our client's approval within the required timeframes. Our increasing customer base has provided an opportunity for a field-based Lead Estimator to join the team and support them in delivering opportunities for work instructions. As part of our Estimating Team, you will attend scheduled appointments and properties to obtain the information needed to produce a quotation and then assist in calculating costs for the administration team to issue to our clients.
About the job
• Undertake site visits to collect information for quote opportunities
• Prepare specifications for small to medium works for the client's approval
• Oversee complex tenders for cyclical works for clients
• Prepare pricing for estimated projects
• Meet with clients to review potential works and discuss solutions available
• Provide a support function to the Estimating team and other Estimators
About the successful applicant
You'll need to be self-disciplined, experienced, accountable, flexible, and have a positive proactive vision for growth both for the company and personally.
To be successful you will have:
* Full UK Licence
* Experience in quotations/estimates and some tender exposure
* Experience in maintenance/trades works
* Effective problem-solving, planning, and dispute resolution
* Working independently and part of a wider supervisor team
