Our client is looking for an experienced ocean coordinator who is wanting to develop their career within an established freight forwarding company.

Operating globally with over 10 locations across the UK, this role within a growing company has the potential to progress into a supervisor role.

Main Duties:

Calculating, negotiating and preparing ocean freight quotations
Managing all ocean imports from start to finish
Preparing shipping documentation
Working collaboratively with other departments
Following up quotes
Developing relationships with clients and shipping lines

Requirements:

Essential:

Customs knowledge
4 + years' experience doing ocean freight
Experience doing Imports and Exports - Start to finish

Desirable:

Previous experience within a freight forwarding company
High level of communication skills
Commercial knowledge
