Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Earls Court, London

Project: Hotel Refurbishment (£11 Million)

Company: Privately owned Main Contractor (£30 million turn over), head office based in the Midlands with projects nationally. Specialise in refurbishment projects across various sectors including arts, education, healthcare, hotel and retail projects.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join the London team working on an exciting hotel refurbishment project in Earls Court, London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of the project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Sub-Contractor Management: Oversee and manage subcontractor accounts, ensuring work is completed to specifications and within agreed timelines.

* Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed cost reports and maintain accurate records, reporting directly to Paul, the Director.

* Cost Management: Monitor project expenditures, identify potential cost savings, and mitigate financial risks throughout the project lifecycle.

* Valuations & Variations: Conduct regular valuations and handle variations in line with contractual obligations.

* Contract Administration: Manage and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements.

* Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding financial and contractual matters.

* Fit-Out & Commercial Expertise: Utilise your fit-out and commercial experience to ensure project success in a high-end residential setting.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with a focus on fit-out and commercial projects.

* Proven track record within high-end residential and hotel refurbishment projects.

* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field.

* Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure.
