Woodwork Assembly Operative
Overview:
We are seeking individuals with a strong ability to work from drawings and independently assemble wooden structures. As part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible for using hand tools and operating workshop machinery to create unique, hand-assembled products.
Responsibilities:
Assemble wooden structures using a variety of hand tools and workshop machinery
Work from drawings and demonstrate initiative in problem-solving
Operate floor standing machinery including chop saw, spindle, panel saw, and hydraulic press
Adhere to safety and quality standards in all tasks
Assisting the Bench Joiners with any tasks they need assistance with
Qualifications:
Previous experience in woodworking or carpentry
Ability to interpret technical drawings and work independently
Familiarity with a range of hand tools and workshop machinery
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
Day-to-Day:
Independently assemble wooden structures from drawings
Operate hand tools such as hammers, cordless drills, and orbital sanders
Utilize floor standing machinery to cut and shape wooden components such as Spindle, Panel Saw etc
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes
Benefits:
