Antony James recruitment is currently supporting a client in Bourne End recruiting for a Head Chef offering a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 with TRONC bringing the total package to roughly £55,000.

My client in Bourne End is a vibrant and contemporary Tapas bar on the River. Renowned for its chic decor and relaxed atmosphere, my client offers an eclectic menu featuring locally sourced ingredients and a fusion of traditional and modern cuisine. You will only work 5 of the 7 on a rota basis working straights.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining current knowledge of culinary trends and procedures
Ensuring that kitchen workers follow quality, hygiene, and cleanliness requirements
Interacting with suppliers and ensuring they provide high-quality products at reasonable costs.
Keeping an eye on stock levels and placing orders when necessary
Managing culinary equipment upkeep and scheduling repairs as necessary
Managing employee concerns, such as sick leave and attendance, and imposing discipline when needed
Creating new recipes and revamping menus to draw in more customers
Ensuring that visitors have a delightful dining experience and receive exceptional serviceIf you are an experienced Tapas Sous/Head Chef please apply for your new opportunity (Live-in possible)
