At Peopleforce Recruitment we are currently recruiting for a Scientist to join a global organisation at their site in Witney. This would be on an initial 12 month basis with the potential for it to be extended and made permanent further on down the line. Salary is set at £40,000 per annum.

This would be working within their clinical affairs group and would be perfect for someone wanting to focus on technical writing and the review of scientific literature and clinical evidence. You would be working towards the timely delivery of key technical reports under the MDR and IVDR for the company’s products to allow CE marking and the selling of medical devices within the EU.

The role is varied and fast-paced with the below being the key responsibilities::

* Interacting with colleagues in key business functions including product registrations, reimbursement applications, new tender acquisitions, and product evaluations

* Collation and appraisal of clinical evidence, including scientific literature reviews

* Writing technical product summaries on company and also competitor products

* Preparation of reports for Performance/Clinical Evaluation and Post-Market Performance/Clinical Follow-Up

What we are looking for:

* Degree educated as a minimum within a scientific discipline

* Experience working within a scientific and regulated background

* Critical thinking and ability to communicate findings effectively through technical writing

* Proactive and initiative driven

* Able to move within a fast paced environment and meet deadlines
