Job Title: CI & Procurement Manager
Location: Warrington
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Car Allowance, Pension, Holidays
The Company:
We are pleased to be recruiting for a CI & Procurement Manager on behalf of a leading logistics business, based in the North West with a national network of depots and an impressive client list.
The Role:
The purpose of the role is to lead various projects across the business, collate information & financial data, and apply project and procurement management methodology to keep projects on track and within budgets.
As a skilled communicator, you will collaborate with different departments to ensure all stakeholders have visibility of where a project is in the development process and are clear on their objectives, ensuring projects are completed on time.
Additional responsibilities include:
Create and maintain project management plans, including setting deadlines, prioritising tasks, and assigning resources as required.
Analysing financial data, including budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
Reporting on financials, budgets, and project progress to the Board of Directors.
Managing the tender process for new contractors and suppliers, from sourcing to onboarding.
Oversee the development and delivery of each the project ensuring successful completion of workflows and activities.
Managing risk; produce management reports/KPIs/statistics on a regular basis to identify risk and monitor success and maintain the company reputation/brand.
Experience required:
This is a varied role, suited to somebody who has experience in procurement and project management and/or continuous improvement, ideally within the logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing sector.
Qualifications such as APM, Prince2, and CIPS would be a distinct advantage.
Strong influencing, communication and organisation skills will be required.
Importantly, experience in managing multiple workflows across different locations will be needed in this role.
