A fantastic role for a Group FP&A Manager has arisen to join a PLC listed company based in Maidenhead. As a Group FP&A Manager, you will play a crucial role in the Group's financial strategic planning. This role would suit an ACA qualified candidate looking to make their first move from practice or industry as this outstanding business offers excellent progression opportunities and hybrid working options.
Responsibilities:
Provide support to the Group Planning and Strategic team -
Challenge, highlight and investigate areas of opportunity for strategic recommendations; identify emerging themes to drive future value opportunities
Drive the preparation of financial information for external Investor reporting
Support the month-end process and reporting, perform variance analysis on performance against Group plan
Manage a small team to support growth, learning and development
Drive continuous improvement across Group FP&A processes
Partner with Group FP&A Reporting and Analytics, Group Financial Control and Divisional Finance
Develop strategic partnership with CFO and Director of Group FP&A
Lead and manage Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) process and outputs including annual budgeting, forecasting and planning
Own the strategic planning model - Leverage business insights, scenario modelling and analysis to develop financial models and drive commercial decision-making
Lead capital allocation/investment process, consolidation, reporting and ROI analysis
Support the Corporate Director with M&A activity
Identify and evaluate potential target companies
Support financial due diligence efforts in potential mergers and acquisitions
Project manage the financial integration of acquisitions working as a liaison between acquisition sponsor, Group finance and operational finance functions
Requirements:
Qualified ACA / CA from Big Four Practice
Strong Accounting background from Big four practice
Commercial mindset with an ability to influence senior stakeholders
Strong stakeholder management skills and able to lead by example
