Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Officer for a Local Authority Client based in West London.

In this role, you will provide high-quality tenancy and leasehold management services, supporting residents to sustain their tenancies.

About the role:

You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:

Manage day-to-day tenancy, leasehold, and licence agreements, ensuring compliance and addressing breaches.
Conduct tenancy audits to enhance business intelligence on residents and properties.
Support vulnerable residents by linking them with local services and ensuring their needs are met.
Provide advice and signpost residents to services for tenancy, estate, and housing management.
Manage tenancy change applications and handle legal processes related to tenancy breaches.
Lead on anti-social behaviour cases, including enforcement actions and tribunal representation.

About you:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

Experience in tenancy and leasehold management within a housing sector.
Experience handling complex cases such as illegal occupancy, subletting, and domestic violence.
Strong knowledge of housing and leasehold legislation, including tenancy law and anti-social behaviour management.
Experience conducting tenancy audits and managing housing stock efficiently.
Previous involvement in multi-agency meetings or case conferences to resolve housing issues.

What's on offer:

Salary: £2+ph

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
