Lodestone Recruitment is working in partnership with our client in the Bradford area who has a requirement for a CNC Turner working on nights. Due to continued growth, this is an opportunity for someone to progress their career in a successful, well-established, and stable engineering business.

This engineering business manufactures and supplies a highly specified product to a global customer base. Sectors they feed into include automotive, yellow goods, oil, marine and aerospace applications. The company has a strong reputation for quality and workmanship and has been a leader in their field for almost a century.

What We Are Looking For

The successful CNC Turner will have the following:

Ideally be apprentice trained or time served CNC Turner.

Programming or editing experience using Okuma machines and/or Fanuc controls would be beneficial.

Experience of using a range of different materials like high grade steel.

Experience of working in Oil and Gas, Automotive, Aerospace sectors would be an advantage.

Ability to understand engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing, working to close tolerances.

What Do You Get? The successful Nightshift CNC Turner will receive the following:

A salary of £37,500 - £42,000/annum

Shift: Initial start on days and then moving on to Regular Night shift - Monday - Thursday 7:45pm - 6am (39 hour week)

Overtime available and paid at T1/2

Permanent position from day one

Annual salary increase

20 days holiday + stats (due to 4 day week)

Onsite parking / easily accessible on public transport
