Senior Quantity Surveyor - High Rise Construction

I am working with a leading construction and development company specializing in high-rise projects across the UK. With a strong portfolio and a commitment to excellence, they are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.

Job Description:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in our projects, overseeing cost management and procurement processes for high-rise developments. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the cost aspects of high-rise construction projects from inception to completion.
Conduct feasibility studies and provide cost estimates.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with subcontractors and suppliers.
Monitor and control project costs against budgets.
Provide financial reports and updates to senior management.
Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize project outcomes.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with a focus on high-rise construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost control.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Membership or working towards membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS).
Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or similar field.
Chartered status or working towards MRICS qualification preferred.
