This electrician role across the Sheffield area with limited travel and easy free parking.

The role will cover Sheffield area. You should only ever travel 1 hour max from your home.

Each site has easy parking too, making it ideal for someone who is fed up of sitting in traffic or fighting for parking spaces.

The role will involve looking after several government buildings across the region.

On site you will be responsible for carrying out Electrical Service, Electrical Maintenance and Electrical Repair on commercial systems including lighting, power and emergency lighting. The will involve planned and reactive maintenance.

You will be working for a well-established team and the workload is manageable and more 'relaxed' than some other regional or national contracts.

You will be on call one week in 8/10, but the calls are trained well so you won’t be getting called out unnecessarily. You will also get £115 retainer when on call.

You will need to be a qualified electrician. Ideally you will have AM2 (or equivalent) and 18th edition. You should be comfortable working on commercial electrical systems and happy to fault-find. Ideally with a 2391 but don’t worry this isn’t essential. There could be additional training opportunities if that is what you are looking for.

The role comes with company sick pay, Death in Service, store discounts, regular pay reviews / increases, £115 call out fee.

The basic is pays up to £41,000 however this is qualification and expierence dependant but the role does come with overtime opportunities so there is scope to earn more money on top. The van is a brand-new electric van with cruise control, air con and heating steering wheel, so decent spec.
