LTF Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join an SEN School in Northeast Barnet. This is a unique opportunity to work 1:1 with students of varied ages and abilities, supporting their social, emotional, and educational development throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to children with behavioural needs, ensuring their safety, engagement, and well-being.
Implement EHCPs and adapt learning activities to meet their specific behavioural and educational needs.
Assist in developing social skills and promoting positive behaviour through consistent and patient guidance.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to monitor progress and adjust support strategies as needed.
Create a nurturing and structured learning environment that fosters the students' growth and development.Requirements:

Previous experience working with older children with behavioural challenges is essential.
Relevant qualifications in Special Education Needs (SEN) or related fields are desirable.
Strong understanding of behavioural needs and effective strategies for managing dysregulation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
