My client in Feltham is looking for a Design & Operations Technician due to expansion.

My client currently looking for the below candidate to aid us interpret drawings, produce drawings get involved with day-to-day operations also.

The Company procure and produce bespoke items for clients. This can be a bathroom in full pieces of marble, a bar, a kitchen surface, staircases all marble surfaces and applications.

Work description.

Growing family business looking for a keen individual with a conscientious and hard-working attitude.

Candidate must be familiar with technical drawings and able to understand and interpret them. Cad training and experience is essential. Placing materials on drawings to pitch work to clients and for design drawings for cutting schedules. Candidate will be trained to operate waterjet cutting procedures. Candidate will be trained to operate a laser templating programme to aid with producing drawings.

Candidate will also need to be able to help physically when required with installations.

Problem solving and patience are two of many qualities we are looking for. Interpreting drawings from initial enquiry to the finished form, from design, manufacture and installation.

Personal and Communication skills to work with our team and others on site are paramount.

Explanation of work.

Candidate will eventually be able to go to a work site. Take a survey with above mentioned laser programme after briefing from our office of expected works. Meet client and fully explain our procedure and understand the client’s requirements. Produce drawings and cutting schedules for workshop. Produce drawings compatible with CNC waterjet cutting machine. Potentially programme waterjet machine and cut works. Liaise with employees with drawings and details. Attend site when necessary to install works with team.
