In this role you will be responsible for supporting the daily sales activities of the Sales team in the Private Label and Mass Division.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Build relationships with Accounts and Buying Assistants in the discount sector
Assist and support the sales team with all prep work for all meetings and presentations, including creating decks and picture packages.
Assist the team with comp shop / photos and reports.
Prepare and write orders for entry
Gather and analyze selling information from customers
Manage and respond to all customer inquiries
Responsible for all market planning and logistics in the discount sector; including appointment scheduling, showroom set up/break down, note taking, preparing account line sheets
Sample management; including inbound and outbound from Factory and Customers in the discount division
Prepare and maintain showroom for season markets, unpacking samples
Requirements
Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
Inquisitive about selling and growing in sales function
Ability to anticipate needs of sales team and customer
Motivated to build relationships and establish trust with customers
Must be outgoing and adaptable to customer needs
Must be an active listener
Basic understanding of Retail Math
Ability to thrive in fast paced environment
Coachable – Emotional Intelligence
Ability to Prioritize Work and problem solve
Organized and Strong follow up skills
Strong communication skills - Listening, Oral, Written
System Ability – MS Office Proficient, MS Excel – Advanced

The offered salary for this position will vary based on role requirements determined by NYC Alliance, skill set and years of experience.
