Position Overview
The Event Safety Manager will own the San Francisco region of the Event Safety Division of Joffe Emergency Services. The Event Safety Manager will be the primary point of contact for the San Francisco market and will be charged with the following:
Establish relationships with local venues and organizations in the event industry.
Work assigned EMT special events shifts as necessary.
Coordinate event scheduling, communication, and logistics for all events in the market.
Manage and maintain all equipment and supplies for the market.
Develop and provide leads to the Event Safety sales team.
Under the direction of the National Director, manage all subordinate employees in the San Francisco market, including training, employee engagement, and discipline as required.
Ownership of medical documentation
Responsible for reporting incidents
Develop SOPs for specific events and venues
Oversee billing
Approve payroll
Requirements
Candidates interested in the position should meet the following qualifications & requirements:
2-3 years managerial experience supporting event safety services at a noteworthy venue with demonstrated history of successfully integrating services with facility and public safety teams
Flexible schedule required. Position will often require candidates to work nights, weekends and holidays. Event shifts may develop with short notice.
Strong administrative skills. Knowledge of scheduling and incident documentation are preferred.
Interpersonal communication. This position will require the candidate to act as the primary point of contact for clients in the San Francisco market.
EMT certification required.
