We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Water Resources Engineer with experience focused on transportation engineering projects in the Fluvial and Coastal environment in our Mt. Laurel, NJ, Office.

Responsibilities

Assists with and perform hydrologic and hydraulic design calculations for stormwater management systems and/or bridge hydraulic and floodplain studies, prepare sketches, technical comparisons, and similar technical work as required

Assists with planning, scheduling, and coordinating design work with the group

Review plans, details and prepare or review technical specifications, contract documents, and cost estimates.

Support and coordinate with Highway, Structural, and Geotechnical Engineer design teams and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

BS in Civil Engineering

Detailed-oriented, self-starter comfortable working in a team environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong Math Skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Experience with any of HEC-RAS, HY-8, SRH-2D, HydroCAD, AutoDesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, MicroStation (including InRoads), AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred)

Familiarity with FHWA, USACE, and AASHTO design guidance is desirable

FE/EIT (preferred)
