Sigma Defense is seeking an Azure Cloud Architect to document, advise, and assist in building multiple Azure cloud environments for the Department of Defense. The hired candidate will be the technical lead for a team of professionals across multiple disciplines working together to build the new environments. The Architect will have System Administrators, DevSecOps Engineers, Software Engineers, and Cybersecurity Engineers to assist with building. We are looking for a candidate with a strong vision who is capable of relaying that vision to the team and ensuring tasks are completed on time. The hired candidate must be willing to work on a new program and help build it from the ground up.

Requirements

15+ years of related experience with CCSP and Security+ certifications.

Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineering experience.

Must have adequate knowledge of the other disciplines to intelligently guide and direct staff towards accomplishing goals.

Personnel Clearance Level:

Candidate must possess an active, DoD-issued TS/SCI security clearance or higher.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology or related field of study.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

Responsible for design and development of new Microsoft Azure Cloud environments in IL2, IL5, and IL6.

Document ongoing efforts and be able to present current status to customer.

Work through proposed design changes from staff and customer to ensure network meets functionality and security requirements.

Serves as the technical lead over several other engineers in various disciplines to include Software Engineering, DevSecOps, Cybersecurity, and additional Cloud Administrators.

Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000 annually.
