Job Description
The Supervisor-Vendor Relationship Manager, Vendor Governance and Strategic Initiatives COE, in the Vendor Management Organization will be focused on delivering transformative excellence in vendor governance and strategic initiatives, fostering collaboration, efficiency, and innovation across the organization.
We are committed to establishing structured and consistent governance processes, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and accountability throughout the vendor engagement lifecycle.
This position requires a dynamic professional with strong technical skills, capable of building out products, developing within the Microsoft Power Platform, documenting processes, managing projects and with advanced data analytics skills, proficient in leveraging tools for data integration, visualization, and automation.
The ideal candidate should have expertise in Power BI for data visualization, Power Automate for workflow automation, and Dataverse for managing and storing relational data. Experience with Smartsheet for project tracking and collaboration is also essential. Additionally, proficiency with other data tools such as Excel for data manipulation, SQL for querying databases, Azure for cloud-based analytics, DAX for advanced calculations, Python for data scripting, Tableau for interactive dashboards, and Microsoft SharePoint for data sharing and collaboration would be highly beneficial. The combination of these tools will allow the candidate to efficiently analyze, automate, and present data-driven insights across various platforms.
Responsibilities:
Supervisor level position responsible for supporting Enterprise Services, Risk Management, Security, Back Office Applications, and Software provider relationships through tool enablement.
Accountable for the McDonald’s Global Technology services portfolio, ensuring a structured approach to supervising all service providers (segmentation of providers: Strategic, Major, Specialized, Commodity)
Facilitates the involvement of key executives in governance processes for Service Providers, including key decision making related to agreements
Executes on the VMO strategy on behalf of McDonald’s
Executes the portfolio risk management program to ensure provider compliance
Serve as a subject matter authority to McDonald’s stakeholders, corporate procurement and legal to obtain their assistance in contract-related activities
Facilitate timely problem resolution of contractual issues to minimize impact of service disruptions to McDonald’s Global Technology and business partners
Monitoring performance of contracts against performance indicators to ensure all obligations under agreements are being met
Ensuring McDonald’s stakeholders understand our contractual obligations and monitors our compliance to them
Design, implement and optimize business processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the VMO
Data Analysis: Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards and Smartsheets to provide actionable insights and support data driven decision-making
Utilize technical skills to support various projects and initiatives within the organization
Support projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards
Accountable for:
Support the development of the portfolio scorecard / provider view of performance (Executive, Functional, Operational reporting)
Support the overall Governance Model for Providers including Business Reviews, Contract Renewals, Stakeholder Management & liaison between internal functions and Provider
Support financial validation for our third party spend
Alignment of processes with Global Workforce Solutions
Coordinate and direct relevant VMO projects as assigned
