£153.85 - £240 per day

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a Maths Teacher to work within an Alternative Provision in Burnley. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Maths from Key Stage 3 up to Key Stage 4.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students from Key Stage 3 up to Key Stage 4
Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
Manage and deescalate challenging behaviour in the classroom.
Support students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of education and support for studentsRequirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Maths to students from Key Stage 3 up to Key Stage 4
Ability to manage and deescalate challenging behaviour.
Understanding of social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
Experience of working with children from Key Stage 2 up to Key Stage 4
