Position: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Location: Tower Hamlets, London
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and group support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and those requiring additional learning assistance.
Collaborate with teachers to deliver tailored learning strategies and ensure all students have access to the curriculum.
Assist in classroom management, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Support students' social and emotional development, encouraging confidence and independence.
Help with administrative tasks, record-keeping, and progress tracking to support individualized learning plans.

About You:

Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a secondary school setting.
A positive, patient, and empathetic approach to working with young people.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for education and the desire to make a difference.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are advantageous, but not essential.
