The role you’re interested in…

The Sr. Financial Analyst acts as a co-pilot to the Premier Nutrition Associate Director for Sales Finance.  This role is integral in providing financial support to our sales organization

So, what’s it like to work here? If you’re based in the greater Bay Area, you’ll walk into our Emeryville office each Tuesday morning and start the in-person portion of our hybrid work week at our weekly all-company meeting and find close to 200 of your colleagues sitting on sofas, beanbag chairs, or the floor excitedly talking through the week ahead and watching a newer teammate tell their personal life and career journey followed by a quick update on any hot topics that might be relevant to the week ahead.

We are a dynamic, HYBRID workplace so every employee who lives within 100 miles of our offices is expected to come in each TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY. Reporting/Analytics: 50% of Time

Coordinates the month-end trade analysis process:Works alongside Sales Finance Associate Director to understand variances to trade forecast and trends.

Partners with sales org to understand and analyze customer level P&L’s

Creates monthly documents including Net Sales walks, YTD Sales Report, and R&O Workbook

Owns the incorporation of Sales/Trade forecasts during the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle.

Attends Monthly Management Review

Supports quarter-end packet creation including detailed YTD and PY variance bridges.

Ad-hoc reporting

Planning and Forecasting: 35% of Time

Assists in development of Trade Forecasts and Plans

Integral in yearly account planning process

The daily stuff that everyone does but few quantify: 15% of Time

Owns, maintains system Pricing company-wide

Finance contact for Blueplanner promotion entry

Ad-hoc analysis for incremental promotional opportunities

Qualifications:

What are we looking for?

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or Relevant Experience; MBA Preferred

Experience:

4+ years of Finance experience within the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry

Skills and mindset:

Proficient in Excel, NetSuite, and PowerPoint. Experience with Adaptive/Office Connect, o9, Blue Planner, Tableau a plus
