Care Manager

Pay: $20 per hour

Location: Lake Ozark, Missouri

Type: Full-Time

Calo Programs is dedicated to providing compassionate care and support to children who have experienced trauma. Our residential treatment facility creates a safe and nurturing environment where healing and growth can occur. We believe in a holistic approach to care, focusing on emotional, psychological, and social development.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. As a Care Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing individualized care plans that promote healing and resilience.

Responsibilities:

Assess the needs of children and families, developing tailored care plans based on their unique circumstances.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, educators, and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care.

Monitor and evaluate the progress of each child, adjusting care plans as needed.

Provide support and guidance to families, helping them understand the treatment process and resources available.

Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions, promoting therapeutic activities and interventions.

Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of care plans, progress notes, and communications with families.

Advocate for the needs of children within the facility and in the community.

Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

At least 21 years of age 

High school diploma or GED - bachelor's degree in related field is preferred 

Ability to pass criminal background check 

Free of communicable disease, other evidence of ill health, or a condition which adversely affects ability to care for or poses a threat to children 

Experience –  bachelor’s degree in a related field or 1 year of experience in professional work within a residential treatment facility.   

Able to pass a physical and drug screen
