We are Lamp Rynearson, join us in shaping the future of engineering, land planning, and land surveying! Experience community-oriented projects, passionate people, and collaborate to create and deliver community changing projects.

As an intern you’ll participate in the Be the Legacy Program. Only offered by Lamp Rynearson this program brings practical work experience within the engineering field and built environment. Offering students, the chance to apply their classroom knowledge to real-world situations, providing a bridge between academic learning and professional practice. Our hands-on learning experience will develop essential skills, build a professional network, and provide insights into your chosen career path. Come intern with us at our Fort Collins’ office where you will support our Design department! Many of our interns enjoy their time at Lamp Rynearson so much they become full-time employees.

What you need:

• Current engineering student at an accredited college or university in a civil, or environmental engineering program.

• Minimum of 2 years completed toward degree with a minimum of 3.0 GPA.

• Exceptional organizational skills with an eye for the details.

You bring to the team:

• Engineering expertise, curiosity, and sense of purpose.

• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations, basic algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and financial functions.

• Perform assignments under the direct supervision of an industry professional or Project Manager.

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Passion for infrastructure and energy related projects.

• Problem-solving, solution-oriented thinking, and decision-making skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
