Overview:

Reporting to the Incentive Compensation Manager, the Compensation Specialist Lead will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and summarizing human capital data and compensation information to make people-related decisions. This role will partner in the development, consultation, and implementation of compensation programs and tools to assist in our ability to attract, retain, motivate and develop our employees. 

How you'll make an impact:

Partners with division compensation specialist and business and HR leaders to provide expertise in the design and implementation of domestic and international sales compensation plans.

Serves as subject matter authority and consults on all aspects of sales compensation.

Performs complex analysis to ensure efficacy and appropriateness of incentive compensation programs.

Creates tools to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency of variable compensation projects

Leads complex compensation projects that involve high analytical skills

Analyzes business data to understand potential sales plan metrics and models sales compensation plan scenarios.

Partners with divisional business and HR leaders to develop action plans and to create communication plans for the launch of new compensation plans

Collaborates with Incentive Compensation Manager to build sales compensation policies and documents variable compensation policies to ensure alignment with market and best practices

Presents sales compensation reviews and recommendations to management and builds sales compensation reviews for compensation committee/board.

Consults with divisional business and HR leaders to develop training, presentation, and other materials for sales compensation program rollouts.

Position may be responsible for building business cases for sales compensation technology tools, and assisting in any related procurement and implementation.

About you:

Required:

Bachelors degree

Minimum 7 years related experience.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Power Point, and expert knowledge of Excel.

Ability to prepare clear, concise, and complete analysis, proposals, presentations, reports and other written materials.

Highly Preferred:

Experience in design of sales compensation plans

Ability to partner with all levels of employees, including executives

Strong analytical and quantitative skills

Strong communication/presentation skills

Ability to remain flexible and adapt to change
