Unit Description:

Sodexo is currently seeking a Retail Food Service Manager 2 for the largest Lehigh Valley Hospital location –Cedar Crest (1,227 beds) located in Allentown, PA.  Allentown is the fastest growing major city in Pennsylvania and just a short drive away from the "City of Brotherly Love", Philadelphia, PA.

The Retail Food Service Manager 2 manages all aspects of both front and back of the house retail operations including menu/recipe adherence, inventory, staff training and development.  This position will work collaboratively and support a team of Sodexo team of frontline associates.   This role will be responsible for Sodexo retail standards, cash controls and FMS.

The successful candidate will:

utilize Sodexo operational standards and solutions to ensure consistency, efficiency and quality in the delivery of catering offering to the client;

own and drive the operational excellence of the catering department and communicates a clear sense of strategy and purpose;

develop and execute catering initiatives to drive sales growth and achieve catering revenue forecasts;

clearly set roles and expectations for the team;

monitor team performance and provide regular coaching/feedback;

reward and recognize employees;

anticipate client needs and provide subject matter expertise;

ensure compliance with all HAACP standards and safety policies in all culinary operations; and/or

develop and execute catering initiatives to drive sales growth and achieve catering revenue forecasts.
