Overview:

 Steve's Plumbing & AC Service is seeking a skilled and driven Marketing Manager to help us build a trusted household name across the state of Hawaii. The primary focus of this role will be to build a strong word-of-mouth reputation within the communities we serve, while overseeing and coordinating the efforts of external agencies handling our digital advertising, media placements, and other marketing functions.

As our Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in shaping our brand, fostering community trust, and leading our efforts to become the top choice for Plumbing and HVAC services across the islands.

Key Responsibilities:

 Word-of-Mouth Strategy: Lead efforts to create a great word-of-mouth reputation by connecting with local communities and ensuring the delivery of a consistent, trusted message.

 Agency Management: Oversee and collaborate with external agencies responsible for digital advertising, media placement, SEO, and other marketing functions, ensuring that their efforts align with our brand and goals.

 Community Engagement: Spearhead initiatives that build strong relationships within Hawaiian communities through sponsorships, partnerships, and local events.

 Content and Messaging: Guide the creation of content (blogs, social media, newsletters) that supports community engagement and reinforces our company’s commitment to service.

 Campaign Management: Design, launch, and evaluate marketing campaigns focused on lead generation, customer retention, and brand building across the state.

 Performance Tracking: Analyze the success of marketing efforts and campaigns, leveraging metrics to optimize strategies and ensure effective use of marketing resources.

 Collaboration: Work closely with company leadership to ensure all marketing efforts reflect our values and mission.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a marketing manager, preferably within a service-based or home improvement industry.

Expertise in managing third-party agencies and coordinating digital advertising, media placement, and SEO efforts.

Ability to develop creative marketing strategies that resonate with local communities and drive word-of-mouth growth.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously.

Advanced data analysis skills in MS Excel with experience generating reports for stakeholders and optimizing marketing strategies based on data.

Preferred:

- Familiarity with the plumbing, HVAC, or home services industry.

- Experience building community relationships and driving local engagement within Hawaii.

Pay Transparency: 

The starting rate for this opportunity ranges from $80k-$110k+annually. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility. We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). A candidate’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate for this position. It assumes a rate based on location and experience. 

Physical Demands:

Stand/Sit: Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the time.

May be required to bend, climb (Stairs/Ladders), do repetitive motion, kneel, reach, squat, stand, crawl, walk, and run

May be required to drive and sit for long periods of time

Must be able to maneuver up to 75 lb. by lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling.

May be required to work in outdoor weather conditions.
