Overview:

Perform various tasks necessary related to machine operations within the Baldor Department.

Responsibilities:

• Assist welder to weld sub assembly components, such as tubes and hinges.

• Stock components as necessary for daily activities.

• Replace wire stump as needed.

• Measure and record quality information.

• Report and correct quality issues as assigned by Supervisor or Lead.

• Actively participate in housekeeping requirements for the department.

• Operate robotic welders to include basic troubleshooting and programming.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Replace welding wire.

• Attach tags as directly by forklift operator, lead, or supervisor.

• Repair or replace various robotic welder components.

• Assist other members of production as needed.

Qualifications:

Education/ Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years of age to perform this job.

• Formal education is not required.

• Minimum of 6 months of previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred, but not required for consideration.

• Must have prior experience operating a MIG welder. There is not minimum time requirement and experience may be from any environment.
