As an IT Support Specialist on the Rescue 21 program, you will work closely with a diverse engineering team, as well as with our call center and field support representatives, to ensure that the Rescue 21 system is appropriately maintained and available 24/7 for the users. You will engage in a variety of tasks that will utilize and expand your existing skill set, including:
Providing IT support, contributing to broader engineering initiatives
Support System Administration tasks which include Active Directory and Group Policy Object management/changes
Performing Lab Technician responsibilities to address hardware and software issues within the labs
Managing System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to ensure up-to-date patching in Rescue 21 labs and in production
Installing, modifying, and maintaining operating systems, databases, and utility software
Planning and implementing network projects for LAN and WAN infrastructures
Setting up, diagnosing, and rectifying issues with Cisco routers, switches, IP systems, and other network and telecommunication equipment
Assisting in the creation, rollout, and testing of R21 system images
Developing, examining, and applying technical documentation
Coordinating with the Customer Service Organization (CSO) for seamless operations
