Responsibilities:
Scopes, executes and documents the results of Missile Defense System architecture trade studies as a member of the MDA Architecture Trades Group
Knowledgeable in C2BMC regarding how it fits in the Command and Control network
Experience working with Electronic Attack and Electronic Protection
Supports the development of Initial Requirements Documents, Architecture Requirements Packages, and other systems engineering artifacts related to the Missile Defense System, as applicable
Supports the development of alternative architecture concepts addressing projected capability gaps, real-world threats, and intelligence community threat estimates
Supports activities of the MDA/CA M&S Working Group; provides develops and delivers briefings addressing applicable trade study efforts; provides comment and review to work products developed by other Working Group members
Engages with FFDRCs, UARCs, National Labs, and Service Labs to develop and apply Missile Defense System-level and Element-level M&S tools to asses top-level functional capabilities and performance trade space
Supports Architecture Trade Studies Division Chief in scoping and defining trade study methodologies, measures and deliverables
Supports activities of the Architecture Working Group; provides, develops and delivers briefings addressing applicable trade study efforts; provides comment and review to work products developed by other Working Group members
Coordinates trade study related activities and work products with teammates across the Architecture Design Directorate (MDA/CAD) and external MDA stakeholders as applicable
Qualifications:
Master's degree in STEM and 12+ years of relevant experience
Active Secret Clearance
Working knowledge of Electronic Attack and Electronic Protection
Detailed knowledge of the Missile Defense System to include Command and Control networks specifically C2BMC and LINK 16
Able to successfully accomplish the duties by working with minimal guidance
Desired Skills
Knowledge of Hypersonic weapons and their capabilities and limitations
Proficient in the Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) Emphasis on Power Point
