The Inventory Control Coordinator, 3PL role is to support operations and maintain the integrity of inventory.

Full Time On Site role based out of our Charlestown, Indiana location; typical hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm ET

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Troubleshooting wave issues

Order processing/ order entry

Product and Pick Module maintenance including forward positioning of stock, transfer work, location assignment, capacity setup, & zoning

Adjustments and multi-step changes to inventory attributes within the system

Processing inventory status changes

Knowledge of the business rules, demands, and expectations of clients

Knowledge of the challenges of operations/distribution

Comprehending units of measure

Order intercept/cancel requests

Cycle count plan creation and review of results and escalating where appropriate based on tolerances, client expectations, activity and adherence to SOP’s

Processing destructions

Investigation & resolution of inventory discrepancies

Daily communication with client representatives via emails, phone calls, and virtual meetings

Effective and discreet (written and oral) communication with multiple departments

Qualifications:

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Training:  High School Diploma

Business Experience: One year of experience in Inventory Control, preferably in a Distribution environment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Computer knowledge

Experience with a WMS (will use multiple)

Ability to analyze WMS processes

Ability to extrapolate information from WMS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 35 pounds.

Frequently required to stand or sit.

Frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.

Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
