Responsibilities:

Responsible for the management of mortgage origination, leads a team of mortgage loan officers and represents Grow Financial in the community.  Responsible for the strategic growth of the Real Estate department.  This position will spend time in our communities networking, doing business development and building relationships that help drive business to our Real Estate lending team. Will support, develop and promote home ownership to all market segments. Will have a full knowledge of Federal, State and secondary market guidelines, to include Fannie Mae and FHA/VA, concerning the origination, processing, and sale of mortgage loans.  The position works with members, credit union staff, outside vendors and realtors.  Areas of responsibility include marketing, compliance and training. Partners with Underwriting, Quality Control, Compliance, Mortgage Operations to achieve departmental goals. 

Qualifications:

Required Skills/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor of Arts/Science degree from an accredited university preferred.

Five years of experience in mortgage origination and business development/sales required. 

Three years of leadership experience managing and coaching team members required.

Understanding of secondary market guidelines to include automated underwriting is necessary.

Ability to perform in a multi-tasked, deadline-oriented environment, with ability to prioritize tasks. 

Effective leadership and negotiation skills with ability to adapt to change within working responsibilities, be it internal, market, or regulatory driven.

Physical Demands:

Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.

Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.

Must be able to hear and use a telephone. 

Use of computer requires repetitive keystrokes.

Work Environment:

This role is fully remote, with the option to work from our HQ or retail locations. 

As part of your week, you may occasionally travel between various Grow locations within the Tampa Bay Area.

Qualified candidates must live in the Tampa Bay area.
