A leading design agency specialising in large-scale public installations is seeking a skilled Fabricator to join their established workshop team. This freelance position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of unique decorations and structures for high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare cutting lists and materials for fabrication

* Fabricate steel and aluminum frames and decorations

* Complete tasks within specified production budgets and timelines

* Document production processes and report alterations

* Adhere to health and safety practices

* Follow agreed workshop standards

Essential Qualifications & Experience

* Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding

* Demonstrated experience working with steel and aluminum

* Strong knowledge of workshop tools

* Excellent technique and methodical approach

* Production fabrication experience

Beneficial Qualifications & Experience

* Arc welding skills

* Understanding of structural forces

* Woodworking abilities

* Health and safety qualifications

Position Details

* Freelance position (UTR required or willingness to register as self-employed)

* Standard working hours: 8 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour day)

* Overtime if works 10 hours or more

* Pay: £130 - £180 per day

* Location: In-person at our South London workshop
