This is a fantastic opportunity to take charge of over 5 warehouses and play a key role in managing the supply chain logistics for construction projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations across multiple sites. Your key duties will include:

* Multi-Site Management: Oversee the operations of 5+ warehouse facilities, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.

* Team Leadership: Manage warehouse staff across all locations, ensuring high levels of productivity and team morale.

* Inventory Control: Implement effective inventory management systems to optimise stock levels, reduce waste, and improve supply efficiency.

* Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all warehouses, promoting a safe working environment.

* Logistics Management: Coordinate the logistics and distribution of materials to support ongoing construction projects.

* Process Optimisation: Streamline warehouse processes and identify areas for improvement to boost operational efficiency.

* Supplier & Vendor Relations: Work closely with suppliers and vendors to manage incoming materials and ensure timely deliveries.

* Budget Management: Oversee warehouse budgets, controlling costs while maintaining high operational standards.

* Performance Monitoring: Track warehouse KPIs and ensure all sites are meeting performance targets.

* Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to warehouse operations, including logistics, security, and stock handling.

* Reporting: Provide regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and logistics to senior management.

Ideal Candidate:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Proven experience in managing warehouse operations, ideally in the construction or related industries.

* Multi-site management experience is essential, with the ability to oversee teams across different locations.

* Strong knowledge of inventory control, logistics, and supply chain management.

* Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.

* In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations within a warehouse environment.

* Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software.

* Ability to manage budgets and work to financial targets.

* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement process improvements.

* A results-driven mindset with a focus on operational efficiency.
