Music Teacher

Cover People is working with a thriving secondary school in South Manchester who are looking for a dedicated and passionate Music Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a difference in students' musical journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging music lessons tailored to students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Provide both individual and group instruction to nurture students' musical development.
Create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment where all students feel encouraged and motivated.
Manage and maintain musical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are well-cared for.
Regularly assess students' progress, offering constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
Stay updated with the latest trends in music education, incorporating new methods and technologies into lessons.
Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred.
Proven experience in teaching music at the secondary school level.
Strong understanding of music theory, history, and performance.
Proficiency in multiple musical instruments.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A passion for inspiring and motivating students.
Commitment to continued professional growth.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

A valid DBS Certificate on the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
Two professional references.
