Contract: Full-time Monday-Friday
Salary: £85-£100 per day

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related conditions? Do you thrive in a supportive, inclusive, and challenging environment where every student is given the tools and opportunities to succeed?

Time Plan is working with an independent specialist school for students aged 7-19 years with Autism Spectrum Disorder, communication difficulties, challenging behaviours, and related conditions. The school offer a nurturing and structured setting where students learn in small class groups, supported by a dedicated and experienced multi-disciplinary clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting students in achieving their personal and academic goals within a small, structured classroom environment.
Managing challenging behaviours in a calm, empathetic, and proactive manner.
Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary clinical team, including therapists and educational psychologists, to develop personalised learning plans.
Creating a safe, supportive, and relaxing learning atmosphere that encourages students to thrive.
Promoting positive communication and social skills among students with diverse needs.

Person Specification:

Experience working with children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, challenging behaviours, or related conditions is desirable.
Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude when dealing with challenging situations.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
