We are working with one of the UK’s leading fresh food manufactures who are dedicated and committed to their people, in the search for a Hygiene Team Leader to join their team in Cambridgeshire. The hygiene team leader they are looking for will work alongside the Hygiene Shift Leader to drive the team, fostering a culture of excellence that drives continuous improvement in hygiene standards across sites.

The successful Hygiene Team Leader will:

* Be able to build and develop relationships

The company we are working with are a leading supplier of fresh produce, specialising in high-quality produce sourced from local farms. The experience you need will be:

* Worked in a hygiene role within FMCG

* Have strong knowledge around food safety, ideally with a qualification to support

* Experience working with quality management systems

Some of the key responsibilities of the Hygiene Team Leader include:

* Fully deputising for the Hygiene Shift Leader in their Absence.

* Working with the technical, engineering and ops teams on short and long term improvements to hygiene standards across the site.

* Actively report areas of concern that may generate foreign bodies or contamination and work with the wider teams to remove these.

* Looking for and implementing improvements to the shift and hygiene process in terms of effectiveness, efficiency or cost.

* Ensure all necessary equipment is available and in good safe working condition
