A client of ours in the Chelmsford area are recruiting an Finance Manager to join their team ASAP. This is a full-time position working Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 5.30pm and Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm. Paying a negotiable salary depending on experience.

This distribution company requires a NetSuite Finance Specialist with significant experience in producing management accounts and running finance operations.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

Management Accounts: Lead the preparation and production of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
NetSuite Financial Operations: Manage all finance team activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and cash management.
Team Management: Oversee and support the finance team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently within the NetSuite environment.
Financial Reporting: Produce and present financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs using NetSuite, providing insightful analysis to support decision-making by senior management.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for automating and streamlining financial processes, driving efficiencies in reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
Data Integrity & Compliance: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data in NetSuite and maintain compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS and other regulatory requirements.

Essential Qualifications & Experience for this Finance Manager position:

Minimum of 5 years in finance management, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience using NetSuite to manage finance operations.
Management Accounts: Proven track record of producing detailed and accurate management accounts.
Experience leading or managing a finance team, with a focus on leveraging ERP systems like NetSuite to enhance team performance.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified (or equivalent).
Extensive experience with NetSuite's financial modules (GL, AP, AR, reporting, etc.) and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues within the system.
Strong analytical mindset, capable of interpreting financial data and providing insights to guide business strategy.
