Aqua-Tech Recruitment are currently working on behalf of one of our clients who, due to multiple framework wins, are looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Technician to work on a range of water treatment sites for Water Authorities in and around the Nottingham Region.

Responsibilities:

* General Mechanical duties

* Installation of mechanical equipment such as motors, gearboxes, bearings

* Fitting of steel support systems

* Fault finding on mechanical equipment, Identifying the root causes of mechanical malfunctions, whether they occur unexpectedly (reactive) or as part of planned maintenance and devising effective solutions.

* Works can be varied and at times may be required to undertake other duties such as assisting an Electrician or Civils engineer

* Implement all of the company’s rules or procedures within the Health and Safety Policy that are appropriate to the activities being undertaken.

* Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements and rules on Site.

Requirements:

* Mechanical apprenticeship or level 3 Mechanical qualification as minimum

* CSCS Card (desirable)

* Full UK Driving License

* Previous water industry experience
