£400 per day (umbrella) - negotiable

Full Time Contract (6 Months)

Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Project Manager in Walsall. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours. The employer can offer mostly remote working with a few days in the office a month.

The job:

To provide project management level oversight and expertise to the Transformational Programme
To assist in the planning, commissioning, implementing, performance monitoring and evaluating transformational programmes and any delegated budgets
To be accountable for the project budget reporting any risk / slippage to the Programme Manager / Assistant Director of Transformation & Digital
Contribute to complex policy development related to Business Change Projects that require the development and drafting of new policies
Lead, design, implement and monitor new ways of working which may lead to proposed policy and procedure changesThe candidate:

Experience in a project management role in a local authority setting is essential
Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Prince 2)

Ability to influence policy, manage change, and lead multidisciplinary teams.
