The Recruitment Co are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work for an established, growing business in the Blackpool area.
Warehouse Operative salary: £22,308 per annum
****MUST HAVE COUNTERBALANCE FLT ******
Warehouse Operative hours: 6am-2pm Week 1 Monday to Friday
hours:2pm-10pm Week 2
Warehouse Operative Roles and responsibilities:
Assist with unloading and/or loading of incoming and outgoing delivery
FLT duties
personally and/or manage personnel involved for container shipments,
including forklift operation.
De-label, label, re-pack and store all incoming goods appropriately.
Accurately and suitably pick and pack all goods for despatch, working with carrier collection times.
Perform an accurate manual stock take, checking quantities of each product and record.
Effectively use basic computer based systems for booking collections,
tracking goods and recording equipment from goods in and goods out.
Warehouse Operative Qualifications / Experience Required:
Strong time management skills, since the warehouse operative may be required to complete certain assigned tasks under strict deadlines
Attention to detail, since he/she must be able to locate and extract merchandise from shelves and storage areas
Good endurance skills, as the job is manual, and you will be on your feet for long periods of time.
Follow picking lists accurately to ensure products are ready for delivery in an efficient manner
Must have experience in a similar warehouse role
A FLT license is desirable but not essential
A Full UK Driving license is essential
