Axcis Education are working with a secondary school in Torbay, who require a teaching assistant to support a child with negative behaviour patterns and complex needs. The position is full time – Monday to Friday. For this role, working hours are 8.30-16.00. The pay rate for this position is between £85 and £100 a day, depending on your previous SEND experience and qualifications.
The school are looking for a candidate who aligns with the following criteria:
• Resilient, trustworthy and approachable.
• A strong work-ethic and attitude to supporting others.
• Creative approach towards implementing changes in behaviour.
• Is driven and motivated to help children to become the very best version of themselves.
The child engages in a bespoke, creative curriculum, which is stimulating and engaging, and is good preparation for life skills required for future employment. Negative behaviour patterns are addressed through a bespoke approach to address the needs of the individual.
