TEKLA Draughtsman needed for an architectural metalwork firm working out of Basildon, Essex services blue-chip clients on commercial and residential projects.

Our client, a blue chip SME is looking for a senior draughtman to join a growing team. This is a permanent role based in the office with hybrid offered after your probation period.

We are looking for a draughtsman with extensive experience of the design of Balustrades, Balconies, Staircases, Handrails, Support and General Steelwork.

Job Requirements:

* Interpret architects’ and engineers’ drawings, specifications and calculations

* Creation of fabrication and GA drawings to enable accurate manufacture and installation

* Work to deadlines

* Work with structural engineers, production & installation teams

* Conduct site surveys when required

* Manage RFI’s and site queries

* Assist workshop with drawing queries

Applicants must have excellent organisational ability and be able to prioritise workloads to ensure completion of tasks in the most efficient manner possible.

The successful applicant will be able to work on his own or within a team. Strong communication skills are essential.

Salary: £60,000-£65,000 DoE. (28days holiday, Pension, On-Site Parking are benefits)
