We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor in the Canterbury area. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the school by supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff.
Position: Secondary School Cover Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
You will deliver pre-set lesson plans in a variety of subjects across KS3 and KS4, maintaining a positive and orderly learning environment.
You will manage student behavior in line with the school's policies, ensuring a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere.
You need to encourage students to stay focused, offering guidance and support where necessary to ensure their understanding of tasks.
You will be assisting with other tasks as required, such as taking attendance, organising classroom materials, and providing feedback on student engagement.
You will assist with non-classroom duties such as break/lunch supervision and cover for other staff absences where needed.The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to adapt to different classroom environments, and a genuine passion for working with young people. Previous experience in education is preferred but not essential.
