Role Overview:

As a PLC Controls and Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and commissioning automation systems for a variety of industrial applications. You will work with some of the world's leading manufacturing and automation technologies, focusing on Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Beckhoff systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and program PLC systems using Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Beckhoff platforms.
Commission, troubleshoot, and optimise automation systems to ensure efficient operation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones on time and within budget.
Perform site commissioning and on-site support, ensuring successful system integration and performance.
Provide technical support and training to clients and in-house teams.
Document processes, electrical schematics, and technical reports.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in programming and commissioning Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Beckhoff PLC systems.
Strong understanding of automation control systems, including HMIs, SCADA, and industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and P&IDs.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel to customer sites for commissioning and support.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field preferred.
