Principal People are working with a market-leading manufacturing organisation, that produces specialist parts for the automotive industry, to recruit n Automotive Quality Engineer to join their quality team.
Reporting to the Automotive Business Manager the successful Quality Engineer will join a highly established, progressive and market leading business that has a genuine focus on employee’s in terms of their career and personal development.
The successful Automotive Quality Engineer will be responsible for:
Responsibility of APQP from ’cradle to grave’ for Automotive business enquiries, liaising with all departments within the organisation to achieve goals.
Implementing effective use and maintenance of core tools (Control Plan, PFMEA, MSA, PPAP, SOPs)
Manage customer complaints through investigation, root cause analysis, corrective actions and continuous improvement projects.
Carry out FMEA reviews and collaborate on the action plans to reduce future risk
Work with the wider quality team to carry out internal, process and product audits
The successful Automotive Quality Engineer will have:
Experience within the Automotive industry (essential)
The ability to communicate at all levels within an organisation effectively as well as with customers/clients.
Experience in core tools (Control Plan, PFMEA, MSA, PPAP, SOPs)
Experience of FMEA Reviews and action plans
